For writers, columnists and storytellersFrom $9 a month
A home for your writing, and readers who come back.
A homepage that feels like you, posts made for reading, and your own list of readers to write to. No ads in the margins, no algorithm deciding who sees your work.

On someone else’s platform, your readers belong to the platform.
Social posts disappear in a day. Big blogging platforms put their brand above yours and decide who sees your work.
And when you want to tell your readers something, you have to hope the feed shows it to them.
Wizbang Blog is your own place, with your own email list. When you have something to say, you write to your readers directly.
Your homepage
A front page that feels like you.
Your photo pinned up like a snapshot, a few handwritten notes about what you’re reading or growing, your signature in ink, and counts that grow with every post.
- Sticky notes. Reading, cooking, growing: one line each, in handwriting.
- Signed by you. Your name, written under your photo.
- Counts that keep themselves. Posts so far and hearts from readers update on their own.
Reading
Posts made to be read to the end.
A big cover photo, a drop cap, a contents box built from your headings and a bar that shows how far along the reader is. At the end, “Keep reading” suggests the next post.
- Headings become a contents box. Longer posts are easy to find your way around.
- Topics and a featured post. Readers find more of what they liked.
- Looks right when shared. Each post brings its own title, summary and picture to texts and social posts.
Everything a writer needs, already built in.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
Do readers need an account?
No. Anyone can read. Readers who want your updates just leave their email and confirm it once.
Do new posts email my readers automatically?
If you want. Tick Email it to my subscribers when you publish, and it goes out once. Leave it unticked to publish quietly.
Can readers pay me?
Yes. Set up to three paid levels for members-only posts and downloads. Readers pay you through your own Stripe account, and Wizbang takes no cut.
Can I bring my old posts?
Copy them in one at a time for now. Most writers bring their best few and start fresh from there.
Can I use my own web address?
Not yet. Your blog lives at an address you choose on wizbangsites.com.
Running more than one site?
Add another from My sites with the same account. Your second site, and every one after it, is 10% off for as long as you keep them.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your billing page. Your blog stays open until the end of the month you paid for.
Your readers are out there. Give them somewhere to come back to.
