Newsletter tools charge more as you grow, or take a share of what readers pay you.
The bigger your list gets, the bigger the bill. Or the platform keeps a slice of every paid subscription, and your archive lives on their site, under their name.
And a newsletter with no real website is hard to find, hard to share and easy to forget.
Wizbang Newsletter is one flat monthly price, with paid subscriptions that go straight into your own Stripe account.
Issues
Write once. It lands on the web and in every inbox.
Publish an issue and it goes out by email to every subscriber, and onto your site with its own number. Readers browse the archive, search it and share any issue.
- One box to tick. Email it to my subscribers, then Publish. It goes out once, with your mailing address and an unsubscribe link, the way the law asks.
- A signup in the masthead. Readers subscribe right at the top, and a small card offers the newsletter halfway down each issue.
- Bring your list. Paste your old subscribers or upload the CSV. Each one confirms with a single click.
Paid subscriptions
Free and paid, without giving up a cut.
Set up to three levels with monthly and yearly prices. Any issue can have a part for paid subscribers. Free readers get the rest and an invitation to upgrade; paying members get all of it, in their inbox and on the web.
- Paid into your own Stripe. Members pay you directly. Wizbang takes nothing.
- A members area. Members-only issues, downloads and a page just for them.
- Members manage themselves. They change their card or cancel from the members area, without emailing you.
Everything a newsletter needs, already built in.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
Can readers subscribe for free?
Yes. A free option is on by default: readers join your list with just their email. Add paid levels when you’re ready, and choose whether the signup box shows monthly prices, yearly prices or both.
Do you take a cut of paid subscriptions?
No. Members pay you through your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its usual card fee; Wizbang adds nothing on top.
How many emails can I send?
Site includes 2,000 emails a month, Pro 10,000. Each email to each person counts once, so 500 subscribers and four issues a month is 2,000.
Can I bring my subscribers?
Yes. Paste them or upload the CSV from your old service. Each new address gets one email asking them to confirm, which keeps your list clean and out of spam folders.
Can I use my own web address?
Not yet. Your newsletter lives at an address you choose on wizbangsites.com.
Running more than one site?
Add another from My sites with the same account. Your second site, and every one after it, is 10% off for as long as you keep them.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your billing page. Your site stays open until the end of the month you paid for, and you can download your list first.
