Questions

What people ask before they start.

Do you take a cut of donations?

No. Gifts go into your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its usual card fee (it offers a lower rate to many nonprofits); Wizbang adds nothing.

Do donors get a receipt?

Yes. Every donor gets a thank-you email with the amount and date. Add your EIN and it says your organization is tax-exempt and that no goods or services were provided, the way the IRS asks.

Do we need to be a 501(c)(3)?

No. Any nonprofit, foundation or community group can use it. Leave the EIN out if you don’t have one.

Can we use our own web address?

Not yet. Your site lives at an address you choose on wizbangsites.com.

Running more than one site?

Add another from My sites with the same account. Your second site, and every one after it, is 10% off for as long as you keep them.

Are you a veteran?
