Most restaurant websites are a PDF menu from three years ago.
Hungry people want three things: the menu, whether you’re open, and how to get food. They get a slow page, an old PDF and a phone number buried at the bottom.
So they open a delivery app instead, and you pay the commission.
Wizbang Restaurant puts the menu, the hours and the order button right up top, and you change them from your phone.
The menu
A menu people can read on a phone, and you can change in a minute.
Your dishes in groups (breakfast, mains, drinks) with prices and a line about each. Change a price or add a special from Admin on your phone. No PDF, no designer.
- Groups and prices. Starters, mains, desserts, whatever fits your kitchen.
- Specials. A card for today’s special or a weekly deal, with an end date if you like.
- Your ordering link. A button to the ordering you already use: Toast, Square, DoorDash or a phone call.
Hours and reservations
Open now, until 8. Then a table, booked.
The top of your page says whether you’re open right now and when you close, worked out from your hours. Tap to call, get directions, or ask for a table: the request lands in your inbox and your email.
- Open now. Today’s hours, holiday notes and a map.
- Reservations. Pick a day, a time from your hours, and how many. You confirm by email.
- Reviews. Your rating and what people say, with a Leave a review button.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
Can people order food on the site?
They tap Order online and go to the ordering you already use (like Toast, Square or a delivery app), or call you. Wizbang doesn’t take food orders or payments, so there’s nothing new to manage.
Is it one restaurant per county, like Local Business?
No. Any restaurant can start one, any time.
Can I change the menu myself?
Yes, from your phone or a computer, in Admin. Changes show right away.
Can we use our own web address?
Yes. Your site starts at a free address on wizbangsites.com, and you can connect a domain you already own for $3 a month. Admin walks you through it, with the steps for your domain company.
Running more than one site?
Add another from My sites with the same account. Your second site, and every one after it, is 10% off for as long as you keep them.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your billing page. Your site stays open until the end of the month you paid for.
Somebody nearby is hungry right now.
Show them the menu, and that you’re open.
